Bio

Amy was born in Grue Ndit's farm from Dam9, the seventy-eighth female born in breeding season C. Hence the number tattooed on the back of her ear in a textured ink: 789c. It was the closest thing to a name she had. Raised in near-perfect darkness with nearly a hundred other age-mates, all destined for Grue dinner tables, she was utterly ignorant of the surface world. She spoke only a proto-language of whistles and hoots, though seemed to easily pick up words.

Some the Grue (

some_thing_) stole her from the farm, intending to eat her, but something interfered and he ended up bringing her to the Sanctuary instead, and seeking advice on how to care for her. She was adopted by Ichabod Crane (

somescarecrow), who has been raising her in the future of his own world ever since.
